      Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Walden, 97, were held last Thursday at 2 p.m. in Campbell's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Norris Taylor, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiated.
      Mrs. Walden died January 19 in the Crosbyton Hospital. She came to Dickens County from Snyder in 1951, but had been a resident of the Kent County nursing home since 1971. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
      She is survived by two nieces, Mrs. Mary Hinson, Spur and Mrs. Cora James, Lubbock.
      Pallbearers included Kenneth Clark, Jerry Greer, Clyde Grisham, Elmer Maben, Buddy Wright and Benny Maben.
      Burial was in Red Mud Cemetery.

      Spur - Services for Ida Walden, 97, of Spur, will be at 2 p.m. today in Campbell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Norris Taylor, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.
      Burial will be in Red Mud Cemetery.
      Mrs. Walden died at 4 am Wednesday at Crosbyton Hospital following a lengthy illness.
      A native of Mathiston, Mississippi, Mrs. Walden came to Dickens County in 1951 from Snyder. She has been in Kentu County Nursing Home in Jayton since 1971.
      Survivors include two nieces, Mrs. Mary Hinson of Spur and Mrs. Cora James of Lubbock.
      Pallbearers will be Kenneth Clark, Jerry Greer, Clyde Grisham, Elmer Maben, Benny Maben and Buddy Wright.
