      Pullman, Wash. - Funeral services for Alexander McCanse Ennis, 82 who died at the Palouse Nursing Home on Saturday after two months' illness, will be at 1:30 p.m tomorrow from the Kimball Funeral Home.
      He was born March 16, 1882, at Comanche, Tex., and came to St. John in 1919 to farm. Later he farmed here for Staley's. For 35 years he was a custodian at Washington State University.
      His wife, Emma, died in 1953.
      His survivors are a son, Carlos Ennis, Pullman; a sister, Mrs. Beatrice Miller, Spokane, and six brothers including Jack Ennis, Spokane; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

      A very pretty wedding occurred at the home of Mrs. LucyNicholson on Dexter street Tuesday at 1:30 o’clock at which time Miss AnnaNicholson became the bride of Mr. A.M. Ennis of St. John, Wash.  The wedding ceremony was conducted by Rev.Robt. Brumblay of the M.E. church in the presence of a few relatives andintimate friends.  After the ceremonydainty refreshments were served.  Mr.Ennis is a prominent young farmer of St. John, while the estimable young womanis a well known public school teacher of Whitman county.
